Effective date: October 29, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Drug Test Information (the “Site,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, stores, and discloses information when you visit drugtestinformation.com. This Site provides general educational content and is not a medical provider, testing laboratory, employer, law firm, or government agency.
Information we collect
Information you submit
If you leave a comment, WordPress may collect the information shown in the comment form, such as your name, email address, website, and comment, together with your IP address and browser user-agent string for moderation, security, and spam prevention. Do not submit medical records, drug-test results, government identifiers, employment records, or other sensitive information in a public comment.
If you communicate with us through a contact method that is later made available, we may receive the information you choose to provide. We do not ask visitors to create public accounts, purchase products, or submit drug-testing specimens through this Site.
Information collected automatically
Our servers, content-delivery network, security providers, and analytics services may automatically process technical information such as IP address, date and time, requested URL, referring URL, browser and device type, operating system, language, approximate location derived from IP address, page performance, links clicked, and security events.
Analytics
We use Matomo Cloud to understand Site traffic and improve content and performance. Matomo may process page URLs and titles, referrers, device and browser information, screen resolution, approximate location, visit times, downloads, outbound-link clicks, and a visitor identifier. Depending on configuration and applicable law, Matomo may use first-party cookies or similar technologies. Analytics data is used for audience measurement, troubleshooting, security, and content improvement—not to make medical, employment, legal, credit, or eligibility decisions about visitors.
For more information, see the Matomo Cloud Privacy Policy and Matomo Cookie Notice. You can limit cookies through your browser settings; blocking cookies may affect some Site functions.
Security and infrastructure services
We use hosting, content-delivery, website-management, backup, and security providers, including Cloudflare and WordPress-related services. These providers may process IP addresses, request data, device information, security signals, and technical logs as needed to deliver the Site, prevent abuse, diagnose problems, and maintain availability.
Google reCAPTCHA may be used on protected forms or administrative access points to distinguish human activity from automated abuse. When reCAPTCHA is displayed, Google may process device, browser, interaction, and network information under its applicable privacy terms.
Comments, avatars, and public information
Approved comments and the name you provide may be displayed publicly. An anonymized value derived from your email address may be sent to the Gravatar service to determine whether an avatar is associated with it. After approval, an avatar may appear with your comment. See the Automattic Privacy Policy.
Cookies and similar technologies
The Site may use:
- Essential and security cookies needed for administration, authentication, fraud prevention, load balancing, and Site operation.
- Comment cookies if you choose to save your name, email address, or website for future comments.
- Analytics cookies or identifiers used by Matomo to measure visits and understand Site use.
- Preference cookies used by WordPress, the theme, or plugins to remember settings.
You can delete or block cookies using your browser controls. The Site currently does not respond to every browser “Do Not Track” signal because no uniform standard applies. Where a legally recognized opt-out signal applies to our processing, we will honor it as required.
How we use information
- Provide, operate, secure, and troubleshoot the Site.
- Measure readership and improve content, navigation, and performance.
- Moderate comments and prevent spam, fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
- Comply with law and protect rights, safety, and the integrity of our systems.
- Respond to communications and privacy requests when a contact channel is available.
How information is disclosed
We may disclose information to service providers that host, secure, analyze, maintain, or support the Site; when required by law or valid legal process; or when reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, users, or systems. We do not knowingly sell personal information for money or use Site information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Data retention
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above, including security, moderation, analytics, backup, legal, and recordkeeping needs. Approved comments and related metadata may be retained indefinitely so follow-up comments can be recognized. Retention periods used by service providers may differ and are governed by their settings and policies.
Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the Site, including encrypted HTTPS connections and security services. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. Do not submit sensitive medical, employment, legal, or identity information through comments.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live and whether a particular privacy law applies, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or information about disclosure of personal information, and to appeal or complain to a regulator. We may need to verify a request and may retain information when permitted or required by law.
You may control cookies through your browser and may choose not to submit a comment. Do not place a privacy request or sensitive information in a public comment. A dedicated privacy-request channel is not currently published; this Policy will be updated when one becomes available.
Children’s privacy
The Site is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the Site. A parent or guardian who believes a child submitted personal information should use any contact method later published on the Site so the matter can be reviewed.
International visitors
The Site and its providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Data-protection laws and government-access rules may differ. Where required, service providers use legal mechanisms for international transfers.
External links and embedded content
Articles link to government agencies, professional organizations, and other third parties. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies. Embedded content, if added, may allow the provider to collect information as though you visited its site directly.
Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy when Site practices, services, or legal requirements change. The effective date above identifies the current version. Material changes will be posted on this page.
